Excellent product from logitech, image quality is very good, great performance in low light conditions also, microphone works well, but if you have very thin laptop screen then it may not fit on the screen, fits well to desktop screen. In general good product.

Got a good price on Buy.com with rebate. Product shipped promptly. Installed the camera without any difficulty and updated Logitech software. I haven't used it very much yet but I plan to soon. Picture quality/resolution and audio (microphone) both seem good. Overall it's another good product from Logitech.

I have been using this webcam for a few weeks now, and am impressed with the audio quality and video quality. I didn't know if I wanted to launch into the "webcam" world, so I looked around for a deal - I couldn't be happier. It clips onto my notebook very nicely and is easily adjustable. Great deal!

Great web cam for the price, excellent video quality. Wish Logitech made a wireless version with similar quality. If you are thinking about buying a webcam forget all the others and stick with Logitech for quality, reliability, and price not to mention buy.com for fantastic offers and prompt shipping. I have been using webcams for well over 10 years and also repair and setup new systems for a living and it is my experience that Logitech is the hands down leader in this category.

This is great little webcam with excellent sound and video quality. Lots of nice features for camera adjustment. The only down side is the flimsy lens cover which just comes right off with the flick of a finger if you're not real careful. The pictures in the product description are a little deceptive, because some of them don't show the cover on. Logitech makes other models that have an incorporated sliding lens cover, a much better design. Overall, though, very satisfied with this webcam.

I replaced my older model logitech webcam with this unit, G/F says it sends a excellent view. Sound is very good also, this is my 2nd unit of the same webcam, 1st one went to my G/F..

By far one of logitech's best cams. Picture was outstanding, very sharp and clear. Even has auto adjustment in the lighting when in darker areas or shadows. A must have.

Bought this for a long distance friend as I was tired of looking at her old cam. She actually "complained" that it showed to much definition of her image. A good buy.

Easy install, and great performance on a mediocre laptop. Haven't found any negatives yet. I suggest you use Skype for webcam chats. I tried all of the others when trying to converse with my daughter in Korea (from the USA) and got choppy video and frequent disconnects. But with Skype, its almost like being there.

I really like this camera. I have had a few problems with the drivers. When using the camera with Skype for video it tends to turn off and back on which not only causes an interruption in the video but also makes the little control pop up on top of everything. Honestly other than that I can't say much bad about this camera though. It works really well in all indoor lighting. It's not perfect in very bright light, but very good in low light. The face follow feature is cool, but a little distracting. I wouldn't use it, but it might be good for someone that would be moving around a lot while broadcasting. All around a great value. I highly recommend this camera if you're looking for something in this price range. I don't think you could get a better one unless you pay more.

the Logitech 5000 webcamera has been one of the few recent tech-geek, gadgets that I have really tried to not love but, it is my new favorite toy! It lives up to its hype in many ways so what can I find wrong with it? Not much. being critical of this gadget is not easy since it does everything that it says it can and delivers quite well on each promise. the price is very reasonable, and being a penny-pincher meant, for me, going out of my way a bit to 'invest' in this fine piece of tech. It is sturdy and delivers the crisp imagery of cameras that cost more but, shouldn't and it has a sophisticated look that speaks to the idea of form and function. Tiny foot print on the desk or mounted atop the flat screen monitor serves to make me wonder if it will topple and break but, no, it is rugged enough to get roughed up and keep on working even despite the cats playing with it when I'm away! The image is good even in the lowest light and can be adjusted even then! The 'shade' can be pulled down to prevent accidentally broadcasting an image, or 'image shades' can be placed in cue to be observed when you don't want to flip the real one (phisical plastic) into place. The USB 2 plug & play and the easy to understand software installation instructions made this camera a near steal. It has some quirky and fun additions that I didn't think I'd like at first but, they are so goofy that I find myself playing with them quite often, and losing track of time! The 'on' light lets me know when the camera is active and online Vs not, and the face--eye--tracking and echo cancellation during calls again makes this an all-in-on-package that delivers on its promises. The most trouble that I had was attempting to figure if the camera would work properly with the new windows Vista. And yes, it did. This camera is my new 'crack-tastic' everyone needs one.

i really enjoy what i am able to do with this cam. the software is cool. the resolution is perrfect. i hang it on the screen of my laptop, so i dont need to look for any other place to put that on. its handy . it absolutely worths what you pay.

I purchased this cam and it is everything I wanted in a cam. The quality is great, it is easy to use, it has good special effects, and the price was right. COME ON DOWN. If your looking for one, go for this one.

This is the best PC video cam I've ever seen. I've had an intel Cam since the late 1990's and that was the top of the line then. The technology has really improved. The colors that the logitech displays are so vivid and not washed out like most PC video cams. What's also great about this cam is the control settings. Logitech did a great job with this cam.

Our whole family has Logitech webcams to communicate over the Internet. This model has nice picture and built-in mike, plus some fun special features. Installation was easy and works great with Windows Live Messenger. Good quality and good price - rebate paid in full and in a timely manner.
